MUN UPDATES
Be sure to follow this page along with the GroupMe updates (our main method of communication) for important information. This page will mainly discuss what we do in meetings, and will not be as up to date as our GroupMe.
1. Bring the $40 delegate fee in cash or in check. If paying by check, make it out to: Houston Area Model UN, PO Box 667049 Houston, TX 77266-7049 (include the address) 2. Meet in the cafeteria on both days by 7:15. We may need to leave anyone who comes too late. 3. Make sure to have the two forms below printed out and signed. It is mandatory. If you can't print it, you can ask for some copies from me (Emmanuel). 4. Bring money for food. There are multiple restaurants near where we are having the Conference. Some of which are McDonald's, Chick-Fil-A, and Panda Express. You need enough money for 2 lunches and 2 dinners. 5. Bring your phone charger. We need to stay in constant contact with everyone throughout the Conference. We will be using Remind. 6. Bring enough paper (index cards and notebook paper) for notes and passing notes. 7. If you want, you can print out the Standard Committee Handbook or Crisis Committee Handbook attached below.
